Topic: Faith in His Name
Text: Acts 3:13-16
14But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;
15And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.
16And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
Key Verse: “And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.” Acts 3:16
Message
A man was lying down paralyzed at a gate called “Beautiful”. Nobody could help him. One day, a friend of Jesus called Peter, was going into the temple to pray, with other friends. Then he saw this paralyzed man. He wanted to help him, but Peter had no money to give to the man. Suddenly, Peter remembered that as a friend of Jesus, he had something greater than money, which is faith in the name of Jesus Christ. So, he got close to the paralyzed man who was expecting Peter to give him money. Peter prayed for the man and commanded him to rise up and walk in the name of Jesus. The paralyzed man rose up and there were jubilations everywhere.
Faith in the name of Jesus Christ is a great possession many friends of Jesus have not realized its power. Faith in the name of Jesus will get everything done for you. It can heal the sick, drive away fear, make impossibility possible, turn failure to success and make you achieve greater things your own power cannot achieve. Faith in the name of Jesus Christ brings salvation and all other spiritual blessings. If you are not born again, turn away from your sins now and invite Jesus Christ into your heart. Then begin to enjoy the blessings through faith in the name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer for today: Oh Lord, I believe all things are possible through faith in Your holy name.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
