DCLM Sincere Milk 11 December 2023 — White As Snow
DCLM Sincere Milk 11 December 2023 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — White As Snow
Topic: White As Snow
Text: Matthew 28:1-7
Key Verse: “His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:” Matthew 28:3
Message
On the day Jesus rose from the dead, the angel of the a Lord descended from heaven and came to roll back the stone from the door and sat upon it. We read that His cloth was white as snow. This means that He was pure and clean on every side. To be white as snow like the angel, you have to be pure within and without. A little stain on your garment will stand as a barrier between you and God. God is holy and anyone that desires to be in a loving relationship with God must be holy.
Holiness of life is not optional; it is a must for all heaven-bound Christians. To be made holy, a sinner must first repent of all sins and accept Jesus as personal Saviour and Lord. This is known as salvation or the first work of grace.
After that, you must go a step higher to experience the sanctification of your heart. This you can do by, developing a strong desire and thirst for holiness. Then pray sincerely and believe that God will do it for you. Wait patiently to receive the total cleansing of your heart, soul and spirit. Take a step of faith now, as you pray.

Prayer for today: Lord, please, cleanse me and make me holy.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
