Text: 2 Kings 6:14-18
14Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about.
16And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
17And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
18And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto the LORD, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.

Message
God specializes in impossibilities. He doeth great things that are past finding out; He doeth those things so that His creatures can fear Him and also return all the praises to Him. It is common for people to say that one with God is a majority. The boy or girl who has Jesus in his/her life has all it takes to overcome the world. The servant of Elisha in our Bible passage was spiritually blind to the provision of God for him and his master. He was afraid because he could not see the security and the protection that has been provided for them.

Many times, some friends of Jesus are also blind to the victories and breakthroughs that God has made available to them. Therefore, they are fearful, worried and prayerless. Prayer is a very powerful weapon that can bring our dreams to reality. Be spiritually alert and awake like Elisha the prophet so that you can be able to conquer all the fiery darts of the enemy.

Prayer for today: Open my eyes oh Lord to behold Your provision for me.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
