Text: Colossians 4:7-13
7All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord:
9With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here.
10Aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and Marcus, sister’s son to Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)
11And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.
12Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
13For I bear him record, that he hath a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis.

Message
In the course of his missionary journeys, apostle Paul expressed appreciation to his partners in the service of God. It was thoughtful of Paul to mention them by their names with some testimonies of their good works. A partner is somebody who shares in one’s vision and helps to achieve it, not minding the cost. Partnership is common in business. Partnership in business is an arrangement where parties known as business partners, agree to cooperate to achieve success in their business. Partnership brings about mutual benefits. The best and the most rewarding form of partnership is to team up with other believers to expand the work of God. Such people will be rewarded here on earth and in heaven.

The work of God is large and it requires a lot of people to do it. Notwithstanding the greatness and size of the work, only believers can do it. As a Christian child, there are opportunities for you to work for God (evangelism, visitation, caring, singing etc.). Find the time and give your youthful energies to your Master. Identify your talents and team with other Christians to give your best to your Master both in the Church and the school fellowship. When you partner in the work of God, Jesus will commend and reward you.

Prayer for today: Lord, make me a faithful and reliable partner in Your work.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
