Text: Isaiah 53:3-10
3He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
5But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
9And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

Message
Iniquity represents sin and anything that brings barrier between God and man. The greatest of all problems in the life of man is iniquity because it will make it impossible to see God hereafter (Revelation 21:27). To overcome this barrier, God made a way for us through His beloved Son, Jesus Christ. He is the One Who has power to take all our iniquities away. The blood of animals cannot take away the stain of sin and its guilt, only the blood of Jesus can do it. Bring your load of iniquity to Jesus today for a total cleansing.

First, acknowledge your sins and repent. Ask God to forgive and wash your heart clean with the blood of Jesus. Forsake all sinful acts. Ask Jesus to come into your heart to be your personal Saviour and Lord. Remember that Jesus was wounded and bruised because of your sins. As you take the step of faith, He will accept you, cleanse you and make you His friend.

Prayer for today: Lord, please blot out all my iniquities by the blood of Jesus.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
