Topic: God Has No Equal
Text: Isaiah 40:25-27
25To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.
27Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God?
Key Verse: “To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.” Isaiah 40:25
Message
In mathematics we often use equality sign (=). It is used between two numbers or terms that have the same value; that is, what is on the left side of equality sign has the same value with what is on the right side. As with numbers so it is with human beings. There are many human beings that are equal in status, intelligence, achievement and even stature. This is because we are product of the Almighty God. It is only the Almighty God Who created all things that has no Equal. God cannot be compared with anyone or anything. The men who breathe the air made by God cannot be equal to God, the life Giver. The children of Israel acted foolishly by trying to compare God to the lifeless idols of the surrounding nations.

God has no equal, He is greater than all the so-called great men of this world put together. He is greater than all your troubles, greater than all the pains and greater than all your fears. Call His name first in every problem, and He will prove Himself mightier than all your circumstances.

Prayer for today: Lord, You are greater than all. There is no one to compare with You.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
