Text: Daniel 1:7-10
7Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abednego.
9Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.
10And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.
Key Verse: And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.” Daniel 1:20
Message
Every car has a component known as brain box. It is an engine unit that controls the movement and activities of the car. It is so sensitive that the car will not start if the brain box is faulty. In reference to a human being, a brain box is someone that is very intelligent or brilliant.

Daniel and his three Hebrew friends were brain boxes. They were taken captives to Babylon and asked to serve in the palace of the king of Babylon. Daniel and his friends knew that wisdom and understanding come from God and they asked God for them. At the end when they were brought before king Nebuchadnezzar, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in his kingdom.
The secret to the three Hebrew children’s success was that they recognized God as the Source of all knowledge. If you want to become a brain box, you must first of all recognize God in your life by surrendering your life to Him; then you can ask for wisdom to be the brain box in your class and school and God will do it.

Prayer for today: Lord, give me wisdom and knowledge to become exceptional in all areas of my life.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
