Text: Mark 6:47-50
47And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land.
49But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out:
50For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.

Message
Life is full of challenges in the area of health, lack of resources, responsibilities, depression, disappointment,fear, sorrow etc.Despite these challenges, there is an answer from heaven that will give you victory over all these challenges and you will enjoy peace. The answer is Jesus.
The disciples in our Bible passage were in a ship and suddenly there was a noisy wind which shook the ship. The disciples began to struggle with the ship. While this was going on, Jesus appeared to them walking upon the sea. The disciples were afraid, but Jesus told them to “Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid”. The disciples were helpless until Jesus came to provide the solution. Immediately He entered into the ship, the wind ceased.

Jesus is the Answer to every situation you are facing, but you cannot get a solution from Him if you are not His friend. This is the reason why you have to accept Him into your life just like the disciples accepted Jesus into their ship and the wind ceased. Immediately Jesus comes into your life, every challenge and wind will cease.

Prayer for today: Dear Jesus, answer all my prayers and be the Solution to all my problems.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
