Text: Philippians 3:10-15
10That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
11If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
12Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
13Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
15Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

Message
Today’s passage shows us how important it is to know Jesus. Apostle Paul tells us that knowing Jesus is more valuable than anything else in life. Paul had achieved many things in his life, but he realized that knowing Jesus was the most important thing of all. So, what does it mean to know Jesus more? It is about having a close relationship with Him, like you will with a best friend. It is about spending time with Him in prayer, reading His word, and listening to His voice in our hearts.

When we know Jesus more, He changes us and gives us new life. He fills us with His love, joy, and peace. He helps us to become more like Him, showing kindness, patience, and forgiveness to others. Make it your life goal to know Jesus more as you meditate on this song:
“More about Jesus would I know
More of His grace to others show;
More of His saving fullness see,
More of His love who died for me.

Prayer for today: Lord Jesus, guide me to know You more each day and discover my true purpose in life.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
