DCLM Sincere Milk 2 July 2025 — Matchless Grace

DCLM Sincere Milk 2 July 2025 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Matchless Grace

Topic: Matchless Grace

Text: Ephesians 2:4-7

4But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

5Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

6And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

7That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

Key Verse: “That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:7

Message

Grace is commonly defined as unmerited, unearned, or undeserved favour; a kind of favour done without expectation. It is the absolutely free expression of the loving kindness of God to all people.

Matchless grace means there is nothing compared to the grace of God in our lives. God’s grace is unlimited and always in abundance as it is available to all the people on earth. As many that desire the grace of God and ask for it will surely be given free of charge. If you make yourself available, God will use you like He used a lot of people in the Bible by bestowing His love upon them. He chose Abraham to be a father of many nations. He chose David to be the king of Israel. He chose Paul the Apostle to be His witness to the Gentiles.

If you desire the grace of God, you can ask in faith through prayer and it shall be given to you. But you must ensure that you are in right standing with God and He is your Friend because the prayer of a sinner is an abomination to God.

Prayer for today: May the matchless grace of God be my portion now and forever.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
