Key Verse: “And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it…” Isaiah 35:8a
Message
A highway is a public road for vehicles to move on. There are different types of roads. We have footpaths which are common in local communities, single lane roads and multiple lane roads. The type of road that can really be classified as highway is the one that has multiple lanes, drainage at the sides, is smooth and allows for high speed. Another significant definition of highway is a way, a path that leads to a certain destiny or destinations. This definition fits the Bible description of the high way of holiness.

The highway of holiness is the only path that leads to heaven. Anyone who desires to get to heaven at last must live a holy life. The Bible commands that we should “follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord.” (Hebrews 12:14) Holiness should be the desire of every Christian. To experience holiness of life, the Christian child must desire, pray and believe God to sanctify his heart.
Sanctification will make you holy and the following fruits will be seen in your life.
Humility, Obedience, Love, Integrity, Newness of life Exemplary lifestyle, Saintliness and Submission
God is holy and you too must be holy.

Prayer for today: Lord, make me holy and help me to live with eternity in view.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
