41And many more believed because of his own word;

42And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

43Now after two days he departed thence, and went into Galilee.

Key Verse: “And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.” John 4:42

Message

Our heavenly Father sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to save us. Jesus Christ suffered for our sins so that we can repent and return home safely to live with Him in heaven. So, Jesus freely took on Himself the sins of the world and ransomed us by His sacrifice.

Jesus humbled Himself and became obedient to the death of the cross. Through the blood that He shed, our sins were cleansed and we then became clean. For a sinful child to benefit from the provision Christ had made, he needs to pray the sinner’s prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Saviour. If you sincerely pray this prayer, congratulations and welcome to the family of God. Now you can go out and tell sinners about Jesus, the Saviour of the world.

Prayer for today: Lord, as I repent of all my sins, be my personal Lord and Saviour

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
