1Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
2Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
3Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
4Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
5Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
6Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
Key Verse: “Let everything that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD” (Psalm 150:6).
Message
A story was told of a woman missionary in China who contracted a terminal disease years ago. Medicine was to no avail, people had given up on her. She resorted to importunate prayer of healing. One day, God showed her in a vision heaven’s scale and its readings, her prayer was weighing so high but the mass of her praise could not be felt. She resorted quickly to praising God for giving Jesus, His sacrificial Lamb, salvation, provision, protection, healing and everything to her. To the surprise of many, she got her miraculous healing using “praise therapy.” Praising God is not just in the time of sickness or challenge; our praise should be in time of health, wealth and joy also.

The psalmist in our text invites and inspires us to praise God for His greatness and great works. As long as we live, he obliges us to praise God every time and in every place or situation. To praise God acceptably, your heart must be washed by the blood of Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord always!
Quote: Praise the Lord always
Challenge: Cultivate the habit of daily praising God.
Prayer for today: Lord Jesus, give me a heart full of your praise.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
