Text: Acts 4:7-12
7And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?
9If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;
10Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
13Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
14And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

Message
Miracles are supernatural occurrence that happen through God’s divine intervention. For a believer, miracles can become a daily experience if you have faith in the name of Jesus. The Name of Jesus is the only authority given among men whereby we can be saved and become beneficiaries of God’s miraculous deeds. The record of the miracles in our Bible passage is just one of the numerous acts of wonders that were accomplished through the Name of Jesus.

Miracles can only happen in the name of Jesus. The Bible has record of such miracles. The lame walked, the blind received their sight, the dumb and deaf were healed and even the dead were raised back to life. In our own time also miracles of salvation, healing and deliverance have been made possible through the name of Jesus Christ. There are many testimonies to confirm this.

Prayer for today: Lord, please heal the sick and save all sinful boys and girls in Jesus’ name.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
