DCLM Sincere Milk 8 March 2026 — Ask!
DCLM Sincere Milk 8 March 2026 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Ask!
Topic: Ask!
Text: Matthew 7: 7-11
Key Verse: “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” Matthew 7:7
Message
Prayer is like having a special conversation with God, the Creator of the world. He loves to hear from you, and He listens to every word you say. Jesus tells us to ASK, SEEK, and KNOCK, which means that we should always feel free to talk to God and ask Him for whatever we need. Here is what each letter of “ASK” stands for:
A = Ask: God wants us to ask for what we need. He is always ready to listen and answer.
S = Seek: Look for God in everything. Seek His help and guidance in all you do.
K = Knock: Keep knocking at the door of heaven through prevailing prayers.
Don’t give up on praying and trusting that He will answer in His perfect way.

Prayer for today: God, thank You for the opportunity to pray. Help me to ask, seek, and knock, trusting that You will always hear me.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
