DCLM Sincere Milk 9 March 2026 — God’s Unconditional Love

DCLM Sincere Milk 9 March 2026 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — God’s Unconditional Love

Topic: God’s Unconditional Love

Text: Romans 5:5-8

5And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

6For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

7For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Key Verse: “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Message

God’s love for you is unconditional, meaning He loves you no matter what. You do not have to earn His love by being perfect. Even when we make mistakes, God still loves us. Jesus showed us the greatest love by dying for us on the cross at Calvary, even though we didn’t deserve it.

When you feel unworthy or you have messed up, remember that God’s love for you never changes. You are always loved, no matter what, and that love will never go away. God loves repentant sinners and is always ready to forgive our past sins and mistakes when we turn to Him in faith. No matter how far we may feel we have gone, God’s love will always be greater, and it will always draw us back into His arms.

When you experience the love of God through repentance and forgiveness of your sins, you will do well to share the love with those who are yet to know about God’s unconditional love.

Prayer for today: God, thank You for loving me always. Help me to love others the same way.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
