DCLM Sincere Milk 14 March 2026 — Faithful To The End

DCLM Sincere Milk 14 March 2026 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Faithful To The End

Topic: Faithful To The End

Text: Matthew 24: 10-14

10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Key Verse: “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” Matthew 24:13

Message

An elderly man who was a building engineer was preparing for his retirement. He then told his employer of his plan to leave the house building business to be with his wife and enjoy the family life. The employer was sorry that his good worker was going to leave. He then asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favour.

The engineer agreed and started work promptly. After a while it was easy to see that his heart was not in the assignment and did shoddy work using inferior materials. When the engineer finished his work, the employer came to inspect the house. To the surprise of the builder, the employer handed the house key to him and said “this is your house, my gift to you”. He was shocked, what a shame. If he had known he was building his own house he would have done it so differently.

This story illustrates the importance of our key verse. “But he that shall endure unto the end…” Jesus is coming at a time no one knows. It is wise to continue to serve Him faithfully everyday of our lives. Do not be careless at any time because it is what He meets you doing that will count. Remain a Christian that is upright, faithful in evangelism, living a holy life and shinning as living proof of God’s grace everywhere you go.

Prayer for today: Lord, please give me the grace to endure till the end.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
