Topic: Time And Chance
Bible Reading: Ecclesiastes 9:11-13(KJV)
11I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
13This wisdom have I seen also under the sun, and it seemed great unto me:
KEY VERSE: “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.” Ecclesiastes 9:11
Message
King Solomon in our Bible passage understood this despite that he was the wisest man on earth during his reign. He knew that he cannot achieve anything in life without God. Many children trust in their abilities, connections, or wealthy parents, but the truth is that success is often a product of divine timing and opportunity. It is important to trust God, the Source of success and progress in life. As a child you need not trust on your own knowledge, skill, wisdom, abilities and understanding as those things will fail you. God has a timing for everyone, no matter how fast you run if it is not your time, you will not get it. It is advisable to wait for God’s timing since He controls the universe.
Our responsibility today is to prepare, stay faithful, focused, trust God in every area of our life and move when He opens the door. He will make you to excel beyond your imagination.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord, help me to be sensitive to Your timing and to recognize divine opportunities.

Ecclesiastes 9:14-18
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
