Message
The Coconut Palm is often referred to as cash crop because of its value to man through the number of products and by-products that can be created from it. The coconut tree provides food, fuel, body cream, medicine and building materials among many other uses. The inner flesh of the mature seed, as well as the coconut milk form a regular part of the diets of many people in different parts of the world. All these benefits show that the coconut palm is a blessing to the life of man.
Our Bible passage speaks of the righteous and his fruit. The lessons we must take to heart here is that the righteous boy and girl should bear spiritual fruit (Love, humility, obedience, integrity, truthfulness etc) that will add value to the life of others.

Are you saved? If no, then you must repent, turn from your bad ways and ask Jesus to wash your heart with His blood. Also pray that God will sanctify your heart and make you holy. After this, you are to go forth and bear the fruit of righteousness that will show others the way of life.

Prayer for today: Lord, help me that my life will draw sinners to Christ.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
