TEXT: Exodus 4:27-31 (KJV)
27 And the Lord said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went, and met him in the mount of God, and kissed him.
28 And Moses told Aaron all the words of the Lord who had sent him, and all the signs which he had commanded him.
29 And Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel:
30 And Aaron spake all the words which the Lord had spoken unto Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people.
31 And the people believed: and when they heard that the Lord had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.
KEY VERSE: “And the LORD said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went, and met him in the mount of God, and kissed him.” – (Exodus 4:27)
MESSAGE:
Some people are at a loss as to how to know and do the will of God. In the ensuing confusion, they take laws into their own hands and usually make wrong assumptions. This, in turn, leads to a more complicated situation, creating unnecessary problems where simple faith in God would have sufficed.

God has definitive ways of leading His children. Even when it appears that He has changed His original plan, He would still stick to the first principles of getting His work done in His own way. When Moses complained that he was not eloquent enough to convince Pharaoh, God recruited his brother, Aaron, to fill that role. It was incongruous but God acceded to Moses’ request because He wanted him to spearhead the freedom of the Israelites.

There is never an argument when God leads His people. He spoke to Aaron to go to the desert to welcome his brother, Moses. The latter narrated to him his experiences with God and the assignment he was to carry out. Together, they gathered the Israelites, briefed them on God’s plans and showed them the initial signs He had given Moses. It was then that “the people believed” and worshipped the Lord.
Never get to a point when you begin to think that you know your interests better than God. He is omniscient. In every area of life, whether in the choice of career, marriage partner, a place to live or do your business, ask God to guide and lead you into His perfect will. Therein lies the secret of peace and happiness, success and great accomplishments.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
“They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed”.

1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
