Text: 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Message
Rapture is the next event that will happen any time from now. It is an event where all believers in Christ would be caught up to meet with Jesus in the air. Though it is very sure that rapture will take place soon, the actual day and time are only known by God. This calls for preparedness and readiness to be part of the rapture. Just as students would prepare for their tests and examinations to achieve their goal of success, so also must those who want to get to heaven prepare to be part of the rapture.

The signs that the rapture will happen anytime from now are all around us. It will be sudden without any announcement in the media or permission from any president, pastor or anyone. It might even happen before you finish reading the Sincere Milk Devotional Guide. You should be ready. You do not have control over the time it will happen, but you have the opportunity to choose to get ready to be raptured. Sinners must repent now and accept Jesus as their Saviour. Friends of Jesus must daily live in obedience to God, pray for grace to overcome temptations to do evil and not allow dirty thoughts into their hearts. Remember, whether the world is ready or not, Jesus will soon come. Be ready!

Prayer for today: Dear Lord, help me to daily live in obedience to You and be ready for the rapture in Jesus’ Name.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
