Topic: Breaking Barriers
Text: 2 Corinthians 10:3-6
3And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
5But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
6Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
Key Verse: “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.” 2 Corinthians 10:4
Message
Do you have a problem in your life that seems to be like a huge wall? Maybe it is there all the time- wherever you go; whatever you do, the same wall blocks your way. Life is not a smooth highway. There will always be ups and downs, bumps on the road and unexpected turns. Jesus did not promise us an easy, trouble free life (Luke 9:23).

Although problems usually help us to grow stronger in our faith, some may be so big that we cannot climb over them or get around them. They don’t seem to go away, no matter what we do. Only God can break down the walls in your life that are keeping you from doing your best and growing in your relationship with Him. Ask Him to break down the wall that is holding you back.
God has given us spiritual weapon to break all barriers and strongholds. These weapons when used in the right way will break all the barriers to your success and promotion. These weapons include – Salvation, righteousness, faith in God, sword of the spirit, gospel of peace, truthfulness and unceasing prayers. You can break down all strongholds and possess your possession if you diligently put on the whole amour of God.

Prayer for today: I cast down every imagination that is against my progress in Jesus’ Name.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
