Message
Youthful stage in life is a period of hyperactivity, curiosity and risk-taking, being characterized by very high physical emotional and intellectual energy levels. Unfortunately, many youths waste these enormous resources, being deluded in their pursuit of vanity of this life. Vanity is any goal, dream or career that is not in accordance to God’s plan for our life, no matter how beautiful or ‘rewarding’ it might seem to be.

Many youths are confused about their career choice. You can prayerfully approach your counsellor for career guidance, and by God’s grace the confusion would be removed. The school counsellor will help you to know your area of interest and guide you appropriately. If you are no yet saved, approach God for His mercy for salvation which will expose you to all guidance from God. The pursuit of academic qualification remains critical for the development of the world, so, acquire education. However, you should develop yourself beyond academic qualification. Are you a child of God? Seek His face on the course you can study for a successful future career.
QUOTE: Develop yourself beyond academic qualification.
PRAYER: Stir up my gifts and guide me, oh God!
CHALLENGE: Career interest without ability is a joke.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
