Text: Isaiah 1:16-20
16Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
18Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Message
A little boy who had lived in an orphanage for close to ten (10) years had his story changed for good after a rich man adopted him. He is no longer an orphan, he now has a father, no longer poor, the riches of his father has been transferred to him. His life changed the day he became connected to the rich man through a father son relationship by adoption.
God, through all the ages, has always desired to be in fellowship with men. He was always coming to Adam and Eve until the fall. They got disconnected from God and sin, sickness, sorrow came to have dominion over them. To regain dominion and conquer, a sinner must connect back to God through Jesus Christ the Way, the Truth and Life.

Our Bible passage encourages us to connect back to God. As many as refuse and rebel, a fearful judgment awaits them. To conquer sin and every works of Satan, you must run to Jesus today by repenting of your sins. Ask for forgiveness in His atoning blood, believe that Jesus died to set you free from all works of Satan. Connect with Jesus and continue with Him till the end.

Prayer for today: Dear Lord, I surrender my life to You, please take over and lead me through to a daily life of victory.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
