Message
Once in a while, we see or hear some children mocking others. They laugh at them because of their situations, showing that they are better than those children. Nobody deserves to be mocked; nobody should be mocked.

In the Bible story, some little children saw prophet Elisha passing by and they began to mock him because he had a bald head. This was very bad of them, you must not do that. Don’t mock people because of their physical look; they could be short or tall, fat or slim, have big eyes or head, or could have a physical disability, or could be poor. Don’t mock them as God frowns at it.
The result of mockery is not a palatable one for those children that mocked Elisha. Immediately two wild animals appeared from the bush and tore 42 of them into pieces. Those children died and went to hell unprepared. If you are in the habit of mocking others, be careful as it is not the Spirit of Christ. You must repent now and turn away from such and if you do, you will receive pardon.

Prayer for today: Where I have mocked others in the past, I repent and I promise never to do it again, so help me God.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
