DCLM Sincere Milk 16 March 2025 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Every Valley Shall Be Exalted
Topic: Every Valley Shall Be Exalted
Text: Isaiah 40:4-5
4Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
Key Verse: “ Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low…”Isaiah 40:4a
Message
A valley is a low area of land between hills or mountains, typically with a river or stream flowing through it. When the Bible talks about every valley shall be exalted, it means that a miracle can happen to uplift that low area of land and take it to the level of the mountain.

There are valleys representing many areas of our lives and family. There are times that situations become unbearable that humanly speaking there is no hope. It may be an incurable disease that has affected you or any member of your family, repeated failure in academic pursuit, lack of funds to pay school fees and further your education, loss of a loved one, family crisis which leads to separation of parents, whatever it is, the good news is, there is hope. Every valley represented shall be exalted, that situation will not remain the same as it will vanish.
What is expected of you is to have hope and faith in God and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Prayer for today: Every valley in my life and family shall be exalted and mountains shall become flat in Jesus’ name.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
