TEXT: John 7:37,38
37In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
KEY VERSE: “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” John 7:38
MESSAGE
Once upon a time, in a peaceful and calm village, there was a tiny stream. Although it was narrow, it flowed steadily as it passed through the village. The villagers depended on it for everything, including drinking, cooking, washing, and watering crops. What surprised them most was that the stream never dried up, even in the hot season. One day, Timmy, out of curiosity, followed the stream to where it started. He followed it through fields and forest until he found a spring bubbling up from the ground. Timmy was amazed! He realized this spring was where the stream began, and it never stopped flowing, no matter the season or how much water the villagers used. It felt like a miracle.

Just as the small stream supplied water to the village all year-round, Jesus offers everyone that comes to Him, living water that never ceases to flow. Let us come to Him with open hearts and drink deeply of His love and grace. With Jesus, our thirst is forever quenched, and we have eternal life flowing within us!
PRAYER: Jesus, please let me find satisfaction in You, the living Water.

1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
