TOPIC: GOD IS FAITHFUL
TEXT: PSALM 119:88-91
88Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.
89LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
90Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
91They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy servants.
Key Verse: “Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth” (Psalm 119:90).
MESSAGE:
God is faithful, He does everything He says. Doubts and unbelief do not change His faithfulness. God is faithful regardless of our experiences and feelings. An understanding of this truth and taking decisions based on it will bring many blessings to us.
An example of someone who understood this truth about God’s faithfulness was Sarah, the wife of Abraham. Her weakness was turned to strength. What was impossible before became possible, and she got a miracle child because she believed that God is faithful.
Also, Joshua and Caleb made it to the Promised Land because they believed that God will always do everything He says. Sadly, the other ten spies who did not believe died in the wilderness.
Difficult things become easy when we take action based on the understanding that God is faithful to all His promises. You do not need to “feel it” before you believe God’s word. Do you know that Jesus saves from all sins and will save you if you come to Him NOW?
There is no Saviour except JESUS. He gives victory over temptation, Satan, sickness, failure and every work of the devil. You must believe that God is faithful to all His promises, and it shall be confirmed in your life.
Prayer: O God, help me to believe all Your promises and obey You all the time in Jesus’ Name.

1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
