DCLM Sincere Milk 17 March 2025 — God Is Faithful
DCLM Sincere Milk 17 March 2025 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — God Is Faithful
Topic: God Is Faithful
Text: 1 Corinthians 1:4-10
4I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;
5That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;
6Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
7So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
8Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
10Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
Key Verse: “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:9
Message
Without any doubt, God is faithful. His word declares it, His actions support it, and everything around confirms it. God is forever faithful; nobody has any reason to think otherwise. He is faithful, whether we feel so or not. He remains faithful, even when man is unfaithful. He is unchanging in His nature; He is true to His word and will keep His promises forever.

The understanding and belief of this eternal truth should be at the background of our interpretation of all things, whether we understand or do not understand them. It is a great source of comfort and strength for us as we go through life.
God is faithful. He was faithful to Abraham. He gave him a son as He had promised. He was faithful to Isaac, Jacob, David, Moses, Ruth, Esther and many more. He is faithful to everyone. Believe, trust, and rest in Him and you will see that God is indeed faithful and will fulfill all His promises to you. He will bless the righteous and also punish sinners. That is why you must repent of all sins now if you have not done so.

Prayer for today: Dear Lord, I believe that You are always faithful. Help me to be faithful to You and Your words.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
