TOPIC: GOD’S LOVE
TEXT: JOHN 3:16-21
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Key Verse: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
MESSAGE:
God is the Creator of the whole world and everything in it, the moon, sun, stars, trees, birds, oceans and fishes. Every boy or girl, man or woman was created by God. The love of God to us His creatures, is so big, so great, so much, that it has no end. His love is forever and it is the greatest.
Sin came into the world through Adam and Eve, and all men became sinners by birth. We grow up committing sin like lying, fighting, stealing, cursing and other bad things that God hates. Anyone who dies in sin will be cast into hell fire. Hell is a place of regret, pain and suffering that burns with fire forever.
God loves us so much that He does not want us to go to hell; hence, He sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to earth to die for our sin. Anyone who believes in Jesus and His saving grace will have salvation by faith.
For a sinful child to accept the love of God, he must realise that he is a sinner, believe that God loves him, and that Jesus died for his sins; repent and confess all his sins to God, ask for forgiveness and cleansing through the blood of Jesus. Then, ask Jesus into his heart as his personal Saviour and Lord.
Prayer: Lord, please help me to appreciate Your love for me and to share it with sinners around me.

1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)

3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
