DCLM Sincere Milk 2 April 2024 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — God’s Truth Endures
Topic: God’s Truth Endures
Text: Psalm 100:1- 5
1(A Psalm of praise.) Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
2Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
Key Verse: “For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” Psalm 100:5
Message
Our God is a God that loves the truth; He stands for the truth and He abides forever. He is unchanging from generation to generation. His truth endures means that His faithfulness is an everlasting one. He cannot fail. The entire universe depends on the faithfulness of God to do what He has promised. The sun, the rain, the seasons, the seas, the cloud have been from generation to generation.

What a God of truth! Do you sometimes feel that God has forgotten about His promise to you? Do you think that some challenges of life are so great and then you doubt if His promises are still good? Cast your mind back at so many years after God used the flood to destroy the world in the day of Noah; has any flood overtaken the world?
His truth endures! You can always count on God, He remains faithful, though heaven and earth may pass away. Cheer up, and renew your trust in God because He cannot lie. He will help you as He has promised. Just remain faithful to Him and flee from all evil. He will come and will not tarry.

Prayer for today: Dear Father, I repent of every doubt; please give me grace to trust in Your faithfulness more and more.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
