Topic: God’s Unlimited Love
Text: 1John 3:1-3
1Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
3And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
Key Verse: “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.” 1 John 3:1
Message
Daniel always look forward to the visit to his grandfather with his dad. This is because he usually showered him with gifts and told him stories from the Bible. Not long after they arrived, leaving his dad and grandfather in the living room to catch up on some adult talks, he decided to move round the compound to see what it had become since his last visit. As he stepped on a plank, it suddenly gave way and he fell through into a newly dug pit. The sound and loud cry made everyone come running. However, before the rescue team arrived, his dad carefully climbed down to ensure his safety. They eventually came out without any major injury.

God’s love to us is unlimited. He shows love to us even while we are still sinners. We must accept His love and also show it to others. This is the way to show that we are children of God indeed. Are you a child of God? If not, give your life to Him today.
Prayer for today: Lord, please help me to always appreciate Your love for me.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
