DCLM Higher Everyday 12 December 2025 — Healing And Health
DCLM Higher Everyday 12 December 2025 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Healing And Health
Topic: Healing And Health
Text: 3 John 1:1-4
1The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.
3For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
4I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
Key Verse: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 1:2).
Message
“To insure good health eat lightly, breathe deeply, live moderately, cultivate cheerfulness, and maintain an interest in life,” stated William Louden. Infirmities became part of man’s history after the fall in the Garden of Eden but Christ has defeated Satan on the Cross to provide total redemption for all humanity from all activities of the wicked one. It has never been God’s will that His children should be sickly or afflicted. Our salvation is guaranteed through faith in Christ; our healing and health are sure through the same provision.

God never wishes and does not lead or guide His people through afflictions; instead, afflictions are meant to be destroyed as part of the works of the devil (I John 3:8). For every child in the kingdom, healing is his or her bread, and perfect health is his or her heritage. Begin today to enjoy, through the prayer of faith, what God, your heavenly Father, has provided for you through the meritorious conciliation of Christ. The same provision is available for all sinners if they repent and embrace Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
Quote: Our healing and health are sure
Challenge: Perfect health is your heritage
Prayer for today: Keep me healthy, dear Lord
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
