TOPIC: Hope For Atheists (DCLM Daily Manna 2 December 2022)
TEXT: Psalm 14:1-7 (KJV)
1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
2 The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the Lord.
5 There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.
6 Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the Lord is his refuge.
7 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

DCLM Daily Manna For Today MESSAGE:
The grievious pitfalls of those who deny God’s existence here on earth and in eternity are dreadful. When atheists repudiate their Creator, they, in fact, reject the peace and enormous riches freely available to those who identify with His existence. Unfortunately, they are locked in a ‘lose-lose’ situation, unless they forsake their antipathy to God.
Since God stands for matchless moral manners, renouncing His existence naturally means being at the opposite end of where He is. The Bible lists what obtains where the Lord is disallowed. There are abominable acts and corruption. Plainly put, “They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”

A large swathe of humanity is in the deep bowels of immorality and deprivation at the moment, precisely because they deny God and His power to deliver them from their dismal state. They drift further away as they continue to rely on false endtime doctrines and religious systems that do not teach that man is eternally lost if he is not abiding in the Lord.
However, pitiable as their condition seems, there is still hope. The Lord has a window of escape for those who will come back to their senses and ask for pardon for their rebellion. He will forgive them as they accept Christ’s undying love for the sinner or backslider who comes to Him in true penitence.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Christ will save the atheist who repents.

1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
