Text: Romans 14:7-9
7For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
8For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.
9For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

Message
The wordings of a beautiful hymn in gospel’s hymns and song give us clear understanding of how to live for Jesus.
“While passing thro’ this world of sin, And others your life shall view,
Be clean and pure without, within,
Let others see Jesus in you.
Your life’s a book before their eyes,
They’re reading it thro’ and thro’,
Say, does it point them to the skies,
Do others see Jesus in you?
Then live for Christ both day and night.
Be faithful, be brave and true,
And lead the lost to life and light
Let others see Jesus in you.
This is the summary of things you must do daily to show others that you are living for Christ. Be humble, loving, kind, holy, patient and obedient to God’s word. There are great blessings awaiting you as you strive to live for Christ.

Prayer for today: Lord Jesus, please help me to live a life that pleases You and that have eternal reward.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
