Topic: Miracles Through Prayers
Text: Job 42:10-17
10And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.
12So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.
13He had also seven sons and three daughters.
14And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Kerenhappuch.
15And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.
16After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, even four generations.
17So Job died, being old and full of days.
Key Verse: “And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.” Job 42:10
Message
Prayer doesn’t just change things – it changes us. If we are diligent in seeking God, slowly and surely, we become better people.” (Joyce Meyer) The greatest miracle any man can receive from God is the miracle of salvation – having our sins forgiven and hearts cleansed by the blood of the Lamb. Likewise, as humans we owe those who wrong us in one way or the other – the gift of forgiveness. Forgiving others is the gateway to receiving bountiful blessings from God. Are there some friends that are now enemies to you because of their wrong doings? Forgive them, pray for them and surely God will visit you with your needed miracle.

Job went through a very difficult time. His friends made the situation worse for him through wrong accusation. The miracle of Job only came after he forgave them by praying for them. Let go of any offences and let God have His way in your life.

Prayer for today: Dear Father, I summit and surrender my life to You, please have Your way.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
