Text: Psalm 37:23-29
23The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.
24Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.
25I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
26He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.
27Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
28For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
29The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

Message
A life without direction is meaningless and useless. Having a purpose in life is important for every aspect of one’s life and can help you live a fulfilled and satisfied life. You must therefore set goals for your life. To make it easier, divide your goals into daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly categories. By setting specific goals, you become aware of what you want to achieve and how to achieve it. You can more accurately assess and measure your ability to achieve the goals, and most importantly, you have a plan to guide you along the way and keep you on track.

Having goals and staying committed to them will keep your focus on the things that you have Identified as essential to reaching your desired outcomes. Without God, no plan will succeed. Allow God to take center stage in your life goals. If you do; He will give you clear direction and establish you in the way He wants you to go. Though you may stumble and fall at times, it is not the end. God will help you and make you to succeed.

Prayer for today: Oh Lord, please direct my path and my life and help me to live a purposeful and fulfilled life
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
