Topic: Permitted To Call Him Anytime

Text: Psalms 50:14,15

14Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:

15And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Key Verse: “And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.” Psalm 50:15

Message

There are some people in position of power that people or the subjects do not have easy access to. For example, you cannotjust go to the house of the chairman of your local council area or state governor and asked to see him. The security guards will not allow you except you have an invitation from the chairman or governor. This is not so with God. He is the Almighty and the Creator of the whole world. Yet, He has opened His door wide to allow anyone who wills to talk to Him.

The only way to get something from God is by talking to Him through prayer. If you pray in Jesus’s name and truly believe, you will get answers to all your prayers, just like Jesus said in John 14:13: “Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” Are you facing any trouble in your life? Maybe with school work, or family? Do not worry, just talk to God about it. You can reach out to God anytime, anywhere. Remember, as a friend of Jesus, you have the privilege to call on God and He will not turn you away.

Prayer for today: Dear God, please give me grace to become more prayerful.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
