Message
Felix loves to compete in the National Reading Competition. It is an annual event that promotes reading culture among students in high school. Felix was overjoyed when his principal handed him the application form. For him, it was a dream come true and a huge opportunity to win the prize of $10,000 USD, which would be enough to pay for his education. Felix went through the selection stages with rigorous preparation and was eventually chosen to compete against the other nine participants in the final. This was something that no one in his school had ever accomplished.

Our Bible passage has traced Jesus’ lineage back to Abraham. It is amazing how a prostitute named Rahab made an unusual entry into Jesus’ family history. Her famous story began when she protected Israel’s spies sent to Jericho due to her faith in God. In exchange, Joshua: spared her life when the Israelites destroyed Jericho and allowed her to live among the Israelites after they had taken possession of the Promised Land.
Heaven is large enough to accommodate everyone. God sent Jesus Christ to die on the cross for everyone. However, you have a role to play in securing a place in God’s Kingdom. Turning away from sin, giving your life to Jesus Christ, and serving Him in holiness daily until the end are the requirements for entering heaven.

Prayer for today: Please God help me to live a holy life and keep my place in your Kingdome wisdom to lead others to you
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
