TOPIC: RELEVANT GOALS
TEXT: HABAKKUK 2:1-4
2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
Key Verse: “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it” (Habakkuk 2:2).
MESSAGE:
We do not set goals without a purpose or vision that is realistic. You conceive a vision, then develop a purpose for that vision which will enable you to set appropriate goals.
If your desire is to be a nurse, doctor or medical personnel, then you must develop interest in science subjects. If you choose to do art subjects, you may not be able to achieve your goals. This is because art subjects are not relevant to careers in the medical field.

Also, if you observe that you have interest in constructing things even out of scraps, then you set goals that will help you to become an engineer in the future. This means you must work hard at subjects that are relevant to your field of interest.
Goal setting is a serious business; as the saying goes, ‘he who fails to plan, plans to fail’. Goals turn your dreams to reality; start your goal setting today. Remember, your goals in life must be relevant to your desire and vision to please God on earth and live with Him forever in heaven.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to start turning my dreams into reality through my goals.
