Topic: Say No To Bullying
Text: Job 35:7-12
7If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?
8Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man.
9By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.
10But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;
11Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?
12There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men.
Key Verse: “By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.” Job 35:9
Message
Bullying is an act of oppression against a weaker person. This bad habit is common among school children in many societies. A girl was surrounded by about three girls who were her school mates. These three girls took turns to slap the girl while she sat on the chair. The three bullies had the guts to even record their wicked acts and posted them on the internet. Their action provoked the government agency, parents and the larger society. It shows that those girls were not properly trained from home.

Bullying is a wicked act that can lead to injury, emotional problem and even death. Do not bully anyone at any time. You must not bully your siblings, friends, neighbours, and schoolmates. If you have been involved in bullying before, repent and ask for forgiveness and cleansing of your sin. Surrender your life to Jesus and obey His word. He will give you power to show love to others and be at peace with everyone.
On the other and if you are a victim of bullying or you know any child that is being bullied by others, do not be silent about it. Tell an adult, your parents, and school authorities about it. Stay away from those that always like to hurt others.

Prayer for today: Oh Lord! Give me victory over my oppressors.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
