Text: Daniel 12:1-3
1And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
3And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Message
Stars are natural lights that God has blessed us with. The star is like a diamond that glitters. The stars are so many that it is impossible to count them. Yet God knows the number of the stars because He made them all. Stars are made to shine and since creation they have been shining at night, even to give light in darkness. Like the stars, God has made you to shine in every area of your life.
Spiritually – You are called to surrender your life to Jesus and stand out in the midst of the corruption and darkness in the world. You are also to save souls so as to shine as stars and also receive crowns with stars at the end.
Academically – God has designed you to excel, be above only and enjoy good success.
Socially – It is the desire of God that you become a shining example for others to see and glorify God. It is in your hand to enjoy all that God has provided for you. Surrender your life to Christ, trust Him and obey His word. Your life will shine as stars forever.

Prayer for today: Lord, make me a shining star so I can turn many to righteousness.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
