Message
Although the mosquito is a tiny insect, it is considered as likely the most dangerous creature in the world due to the disease infections they transmit to people and the number of deaths that have resulted from it. It is believed that the small mosquitoes have even killed some people than the big lions.
Sin and everything that leads to sin is dangerous, no matter the size. The sinful actions some people say do not matter and call “small” are very dangerous just like the mosquitoes. Disobedience to parents, unforgiveness, dirty jokes, telling lies and so on are examples of such sins. Some children think telling a lie is a “small” thing. They forgot it was the lie told by Ananias and Sapphira that led to their untimely death.

Watch the type of friends you keep and the books you read. It is not all interesting story books that are good. Not all cartoon and programmes on television are safe and good for you. The word of God tells us that evil communication destroys good manner. No matter how small it is, make up your mind to run from everything that can lead you to sin.

Prayer for today: Dear Father, please give me grace to overcome sin and sinful tendencies.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
