Message
In about the middle of year 2022, a frightening story was reported of a pilot and his co pilot who engaged one another in a fight in the cockpit of a plane with many passengers on board. Such action could lead to a plane crash. Perhaps they were fighting for control. The passengers had to rush in to settle the quarrel and made sure the Pilot gained control. Their lives were in grave danger until the rightful person took control.
Our Bible passage explains that two opposing “unseen persons” are struggling to take control of your life. Each of them wants to control what you think, say and do. One is called the Spirit and the other is called the Flesh.

One wants to lead you to life in heaven while the other wants to lead you to death and take you to hell. To be able to do the things you ought to do and please God, the rightful “person” must be in control. But you are the one to choose who controls your life at a given time. Today, obey the Spirit of God as He directs you to say and do what is godly.

Prayer for today: Spirit of the Living God, please, take control of my life.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
