Text: Romans 1:28-32
28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
30Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Key Verse: “Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them” (Romans 1:32).
Message
A supporter is a person who approves of and encourages another person to do so something. A sinner is anyone who has not yielded his or her life to Jesus Christ through genuine repentance from sin. Thus, a supporter of sinners is anyone who approves of or encourages sinners to sin (which legally is aiding and abetting). By implication, both are enemies of God because they contradict the word of God by their actions or inactions. God’s judgment awaits those who support sinful practices. Christian youths have to be very careful to avoid the act of giving direct or indirect approval to sinful practices.

There are ignorant born again boys and girls who do not directly participate in sinful acts but support them, like assisting people to cheat in examination hall, though they themselves don’t cheat. Support for sinful acts may also be in form of watching, subscribing to, liking, and downloading satanic music or videos online. By so doing, you are a partaker of their sins for encouraging them to continue with the production of their immoral works which God hates.

Challenge: Don’t give attention to the enemies of God.
Prayer for today: Heavenly Father, forgive me for aiding sinners in the past.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
