DCLM Sincere Milk 10 July 2024 — The Beautiful Feet
DCLM Sincere Milk 10 July 2024 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — The Beautiful Feet
Topic: The Beautiful Feet
Text: Isaiah 52:6-10
6Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.
8Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.
9Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.
10The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
Key Verse: “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!” Isaiah 52:7
Message
Joyce was almost giving up on life when she heard the gospel of Jesus that transformed her life and gave her a new meaning and reasons to live. She was determined to tell the good news, the gospel of peace to everyone around her. In her love for the Lord, she went everywhere telling friends, relations, classmates, neighbours and people on the street how much Jesus loved her and how miserable her life would have been if not for the saving grace of Jesus.

The Word of God became fulfilled in her life because with her “beautiful feet” she became a shining light in her community and many gave their lives to Christ. You too have been saved to bring others to the fold. Your feet can only become beautiful when you use it to go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature. This is the only assignment that Jesus has given to His friends. From today, go out and preach the love of Jesus to sinners around you.

Prayer for today: Lord, please give me the wisdom to lead others to you
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
