Text: Matthew 4:23-25
23And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
25And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.
Key Verse: “ … and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.” Matthew 4:24b
Message
Sickness or ill health is something that is common to everyone, either young or old. Ranging from aches, pains to severe sicknesses and even deformity, all these result from ill health. Whenever someone is sick, friends and families rally round to ensure that the sick is restored back to health. We have a lot of health care facilities provided by government at various levels, to ensure the citizens have a place to go and see a physician (Doctor) who can prescribe drugs that can restore them back to health. Despite the help of these doctors and organizations such as WHO and UNICEF, a lot of people die every day from sickness and incurable diseases. No wonder the physicians themselves said we only care but God heals.

In our text today, we saw the greatest of all physicians Who records no death or impossibility as He provides solutions to all that came to Him. He healed all that were sick and even raised the dead. What a great Physician! His name is Jesus. The good news is that He still does the same today. Do you have concern about your health or the health of a loved one? Tell Jesus about it today, He is always willing and ready to save. Just come to Jesus today in prayer of faith believing that He is able; and all the sicknesses will be over. Remember He healed them all.

Prayer for today: Dear Lord, I know You can do all things, please heal my body and that of my loved ones.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
