Text: 2Corinthians 5:17-21
17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Message
A blender is an electric mixing machine used to mix foods or fruits by turning them into liquid substance. The blender in this piece is being used as a symbol to represent the reconciliation work committed into the care of friends of Jesus.

As friends of Jesus, you are called into the ministry of reconciliation. Always ensure that you walk worthy of the calling of God in your life so you can fulfil the reason why God brought you into this world. Be like the blender that mixes all kinds of fruits and blend them smoothly together to the point that you can’t tell the difference in character or conduct again because the light of Christ is now shining in you. Don’t always be the one tearing others down or be the one separating friends, but be an example of the believers, in words, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. (1 Timothy 4:12) There are great blessings for exemplary life. These include – promotion, protection, preservation, and provision of all good things of life.

Prayer for today: Lord, make me to be a blender so I can be an instrument of reconciliation in this hostile world.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
