Text: 2 Peter 1:5-9
5And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

Message
Think of knowledge as an essential attribute of growth. When we learn more about God, we get stronger in our faith. Knowledge as a Christian boost is like discovering secret treasures about God and His love for us. It is not just knowing facts, but understanding how much God cares for us and how we can follow Jesus better. Open your heart and mind to learn more about God because knowledge helps us grow closer to Him and become stronger in our faith!

Dave was a young Christian boy who heard about the power of knowing God and decided to learn more about God every day. He read his Bible, prayed and listened to others talking about God. One day, Dave faced a big challenge at school. Instead of feeling scared, he remembered what he had learnt about God’s power and love. With courage, Dave did what was right and helped others too.
As Christians, when we seek to know God more, we discover all the amazing things He has for us. With God’s help, we can have victory over every challenge and be the best that God desires us to be.

Prayer for today: Oh God, please help me to know You more.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
