Text: 1 Corinthians 6:9-11
9Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
11And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Message
No one likes to eat from a dirty plate; it will be quite an irritating experience. Once plates become dirty, they are no longer fit for service. They have to get cleaned up with the aid of soap and water before they can be used to serve people.
Have you ever imagined how children expect God “who is of purer eyes than to behold evil,” to accept and use them despite their uncleanness? If you cannot eat from a dirty plate, then don’t expect God to take you to Himself with your sins.

There is a fountain flowing for the soul through which you can be cleansed today. You need to know that you were born in sin and you have no power to save yourself. Confess your sins to Christ and ask Him to cleanse your heart. Ask Him to come and give you a new life. Accept His salvation and continue to serve Him till He comes.

Prayer for today: Dear Father, I repent of all my sins today, cleanse me and give me the power to live in newness of life.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
